Yes, our lawn can also be delivered cooled. Anyway, it is not necessary for most destinations. If a cooling truck is needed, depends on both the distance to the target and the weather (outside temperatur). This is decided for every project individually.
Turfgrass is a perishable product and hence should be layed on the day of delivery. In the case of low temperatures, however, it is possible to leave the rolls overnight and lay it on the next day.
Principally, turfgrass can be layed all year round. If the soil is frozen, however, the turf on our grounds can't be harvested and therefore we can not offer you a product at this time.
Furthermore, turfgrass should only be layed by professionals during midsummer, as this work is very sensitive in the case of high temperatures.
Turfgrass can be layed in almost all weathers. Even during rain, it is possible to lay turf with the right equipment (lawn shoes).
On frost-free days, turfgrass can be cut by us in the winter and thus you can also lay it. The turf easily takes roots over the winter. Also if the soil freezes, the turf do not suffer damage and starts growing again as soon as the temperatures rise.
Although it is not absolutely necessary, we recommend to apply a fertilizer with long-term effects while laying the turf.
Yes, you can order the organic fertilizer MALTAFLOR, which is perfectly suited as a starter fertilizer, together with the turfgrass.
The turfgrass should be mowed for the first time about 7 to 10 days after laying depending on the season.

As soon as the lawn stops to grow, which depends on the weather. In wintertime, the turf should not be to tall in order to prevent snow mould.
Yes, in contrast to some claims, it is generally possible to water the lawn under the blazing sun. The lawn does not burn. However, this is not as ideal as during the early morning hours, as the evaporation loss is bigger. You should also avoid to water during strong winds.

Concerning this question, opinions differ among experts. We recommend, however, that you remove the clippings in order to avoid surface growth.
In this case, the knives of the mower should be sharpened. Furthermore, the lawn should not get too long before mowing. You should cut not more than one third of the entire length.

This depends on the fertilizer used. It is recommended to water after fertilizing, but it is not absolutely necessary when using good long-term fertilizers. Nevertheless, you should take care that the fertilizer is not absorbed during the next mowing.
Hat-shaped mushrooms are in general no illness, but a sign that the soil is living! Under perfect conditions, those mushrooms, which are always there in the soil, develop their fruiting bodies. In a beautiful, well-kept lawn, there is a perfect micro climate for those mushrooms. If the lawn was not fertilized sufficiently, dark green spots can develop around the mushrooms. The reason for that is that the mycelia is producing nitrogen and thus the lawn gets fertilized only at this spots. To prevent the development of those mushrooms, you should not water the lawn to much. In addition, the mushrooms disappear as soon as the temperatures decrease.
Those spots originate from the urine of pets. Therefore, ensure that your dog or cat does not pee on your lawn anymore.
You should only verticut, when there is really surface growth. Avoid verticutting in midsummer, as then the lawn burns easierly. In spring it is ideal to verticut bevor the first fertilization. In case there is lots of surface growth in autumn, the lawn can be verticut in September. Then, the lawn starts to grow once again before winter.
